About Us
Betting Not On Gamstop is an independent comparison site for adults in Great Britain and the wider UK who want to understand betting sites not on GamStop before they join one. We focus on bookmakers that advertise free bets and welcome offers. We read the terms behind those offers, and we explain what they mean in practice.
This page sets out what we publish, how we rank sites, how we are paid, and where our knowledge stops. Last fact-check: 1 October 2026.
How we make money, and what it does not buy
We may earn commission if you register with a bookmaker through a link on this site. That is how the site is funded. Commission does not buy position. Rankings come from our editorial assessment, and the same criteria apply to every site. A higher commission would not move a bookmaker up the list.
The ratings shown on the ranked cards are editorial ratings. They are not customer-review scores, and they are not a guarantee of how any account will be treated.
What we cover
Our pages are written for readers with very different levels of experience. We try to explain terms without assuming prior knowledge. Topics include:
- Offers: welcome bonuses, deposit bonuses, free bets, price boosts, cashback and loyalty rewards.
- Terms: wagering requirements, minimum qualifying odds, maximum bonus bets, bonus expiry dates and cashout limits.
- Money: GBP accounts, debit cards, e-wallets, crypto, currency conversion, fees and withdrawal limits.
- Markets: football, horse racing, tennis, golf, darts, snooker, cricket, esports and more, plus bet types such as each-way, bet builders and accumulators.
- Protection: licensing, identity checks, complaints procedures and self-exclusion.
We use fractional odds in our examples. For instance, a £10 bet at 5/2 returns £25 in total if it wins: £10 profit×2.5 = £25 profit plus your £10 stake gives £35. Check any worked figure against the bookmaker's own terms before relying on it.
How we assess a bookmaker
We have no evidence of anyone on our team depositing, betting or withdrawing at the sites listed, and we do not claim to. Our assessments rest on the bookmaker's published terms, licensing information it states, and the offer details supplied to us. Where we cannot confirm something, we say so.
- Offer clarity: is the headline offer explained, with its conditions easy to find?
- Bonus conditions: wagering, minimum odds, expiry, caps and excluded markets or payment methods.
- Payments: whether GBP is supported, which methods are listed, and any stated fees or limits.
- Betting range: sports coverage, in-play betting, bet types and mobile access.
- Account rules: identity verification, source-of-funds checks and withdrawal terms.
- Support and complaints: contact routes and a stated complaints process.
- Player protection: availability of deposit limits, loss limits and self-exclusion.
The offers we feature, and what to read first
The top of our list currently includes Tenobet, Trixino, Betninja, CoinPoker, smash, BetBluff, Emberbet, Rolletto, 7abet and Spartaza. Their advertised offers differ a great deal. Some are in euros or dollars, some in pounds, and several bundle casino spins or chips with a sports offer. Those figures are bookmaker advertising. They are not confirmed value to you.
A few examples show why the small print matters:
- Tenobet advertises a sports package of 300% up to €3,000. It is the top-ranked site. Because it is priced in euros, check how your balance will be converted and whether your bank adds a fee. We have not confirmed its wagering terms.
- BetBluff advertises a 100% welcome sports offer up to £150. A pound-denominated cap avoids conversion questions, but a 100% match is only useful if the rollover and minimum odds suit how you bet.
- Emberbet advertises a World Cup free bet: bet 25, get 50. You must stake your own money to qualify, so it is not free. Promotions tied to an event may also have fixed windows, so check the dates.
Across every listing, read the full terms for the wagering requirement, qualifying odds, expiry, maximum bet while a bonus is active and any cashout cap. Free bets usually return winnings only, not the stake.
What "not on GamStop" actually means
GAMSTOP is the free UK self-exclusion scheme. Bookmakers licensed by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) must take part in it for customers in Great Britain. A site described as not on GamStop is not part of that scheme, and in most cases it holds an overseas licence instead. Accepting British customers is not the same as being authorised by the UKGC to serve them.
That has consequences. UKGC protections, such as its licence conditions and the route to an approved dispute-resolution service, may not apply. Overseas regulators vary in what they require, and we do not assume any particular standard. If you have registered with GAMSTOP, think carefully before signing up elsewhere. It exists to protect you during a period you chose. Our responsible gambling page explains the tools and support available.
Who this site is for
You must be 18 or over. We are aimed at adults who have already decided to research these sites and want clear information on offers and risks. We do not present betting as a way to earn income or fix money problems, and no site is completely safe. Withdrawals and winnings are never guaranteed.
It is not for anyone who has self-excluded because gambling was causing harm. If that is you, free, confidential help is available from GamCare on 0808 8020 133, or through the National Gambling Helpline.
Our limits and corrections
Offers change often. Bonus amounts, terms and payment options may differ from what we show, so always confirm them on the bookmaker's own site before depositing. Our terms and conditions cover how you may use this site. If you spot an error or want to raise a concern, reach us through the contact page.
If you also play casino games, our non GamStop casinos guide covers that side separately. Whichever you choose, take your time, set deposit limits first and keep stakes to money you can afford to lose.
