'A' level and GCSE results-congratulations to all Blackwater students for the recent success you have all had in your exam results. I am sure you will continue to go from strength to strength in your future University, College or work career.

Maldon Carnival 7th August 2010-I would like to take this opportunity to than all those Judoka that turned out on Saturday afternoon to take part in the procession of Maldon carnival. It was extremely encouraging to see so many of the younger Judoka walking the procession. Thanks also goes to Lynda Morris, Lorraine Hewes, Sacha Kent and Julian Gore from the adult Juoka contingent along with the parents and voluteers who took part; without them many of the activities we take part in would never be possible.

A final big thank you to the Smith and Barton familes for loaning us the transport and generators for the day and the Mawdsley family for the 'T' shorts and buntin.

Lets hope we can get a BIGGER turnout (especially adults) for the Maldon Winter Carnival.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Josh and Ryan for all their help, patience and superb uki-ing that made me look like I knew what I was doing. Also, my appreciation and gratitude to Sandra for allowing me to practice so freely during the training sessions, and Sensei John for his continued support and encouragement.
I also have a message for Pat and for Paul. I am so sorry that I have now joined ranks with "the dark side". Come and join us - there is plenty of room. In the meantime, I will be listening very carefully to your Mokuso.......ha ha ha ha!

Hi you guys,
Well done to all the club and squad members that represented the club at the AEJF National Open in Basildon on 10th April 2010.
We grabbed a few trophies and competed in the spirit of Judo, demonstrating to many, the correct manners and etiquette on the mat as shown by our seniors. Oum mum and dad were very proud of us all.
Well done all, looking forward to the next one!
Regards,
Tom and Steve (with help from dad!)

Even bigger thanks to all those that remained at the end to assist with the clearing up. Maybe more senior members will come along next year !!!!!!!!
